Back to Work

Well, I'm back to working out with a personal trainer 2 to 3 times a week. Usually with Tim he is good but I still like my old trainer better. The first time I worked out with Tim about a week and a half ago I couldn't move for three days! My old trainer made me sore several times but NEVER like that! But I like to be pushed so all is good. It is something I have learned at the gym watching other people - there are a certain type of person that enjoys being pushed past that point that they think they can survive - kinda twisted=-). The trainers are all that way but I have also seen that the trainers can't or don't push themselves that hard - we all need that outside push. That is what the Holy Spirit is for in our spiritual walk - we would never grow if the Holy Spirit were not with in us pushing us on to new heights. He helps us in our walk and enables us to endure hardships and to accomplish ALL things in Gods plan for us.

We had some bad weather this week - thunderstorms and tornadoes - I found myself kicking into disaster mode - I guess it's just in me. The new officers called my dad because the sirens were going off at our old house and they - being from New Jersey - had no idea what to do. Hank told them to relax because the storm was no where near Lowell.

There are days I miss my job but more days that I know I am not ready to tackle that just yet. My body is healing well but that is not all that is involved so we will see what the next couple of months holds. I still want to get back physically to where I was before the surgery - I may have to do personal training more often to get there. I also still need to lose about 20 - 30 more pounds. I can be satisfied with my weight now - smaller than I've ever been but all the books say I need to be lighter so I'm gonna try.

Know that I pray for you all and that the Lord who is merciful answers the prayer that never fails "Thy will be done." Love & Prayers - Kari
